Dragon Fli Empire – DJ Cosm interview

On Thursday’s edition of the Music of My Mind (5:00-6:30PM PST), we’ll have an interview with DJ Cosm of Calgary hip-hop duo Dragon Fli Empire(DFE). Last year MoMM spoke to DFE’s emcee Teekay and we thought it would be appropriate to profile the other half of Calgary’s best known hip hop group. DJs and Producers are often the overlooked ones especially when a charismatic emcee handles most of the press!! Cosm will give us a fresh perspective into his role in DFE and how important the partnership between DJ and MC is on stage and in the studio. We’ll also have music from DFE and much more soul, funk and afrobeat for you. DFE is in Victoria Friday night (June 18) as headliner of the Move the Mountains tour 2010. Keep it locked to CFUV to win tickets.
