Victoria’s own Afro-Funk juggernaut Coco Jafro plays live on the Music of Mind on CFUV 101.9 FM this Thursday Nov 17 between 5:00-5:30pm. They are the first live band we’ve hosted on the show and they will play tunes from their latest self-titled release as well as their forthcoming 2012 album. They’ll also be in studio for a feature chat with myself about their current and future musical endeavors and the future of the funk here in VIctoria and on Vancouver Island.
